Elisabetta Foradori wines are matching with her personality: elegance, charm and intensity. They are powerful, elegant, serious without taking themselves too seriously and deep while displaying very high drinkability. Thanks to the efforts of Elisabetta and a few other winemakers in the Dolomites the Teroldego grape is not only still "alive", but has now reached a level of notoriety among Italian grape varieties.
In the early 2000s, Elisabetta decided to bring the soil back into balance by adopting the principles of biodynamics. Elisabetta "simply" brings beautiful grapes to the cellar and lets the wine be made naturally. She decided to work with amphorae for some of her vintages and uses a minimum of SO2. All fermentations are obviously spontaneous, since yeasts or selected enzymes would go against the hard work she has done in the vineyard.
The three most important wines at Foradori are the single-vineyard Teroldego wines .Her two single-vineyard anfora aged (Sgarzon and Morei) are some of the most special wines in the world, and her Granato ( it comes from the estate’s pergola-trained vines which date back to the 1930s) is arguably the top Teroldego wine in the world, it is a deep, dark, concentrated wine made only from her best grapes. Each wine is majestic, wild and unique.
